Now that everything has changed with chrysler......will challenger go away? It only lasted what.......5 years in the 70's ? Will it last this time?

And what about a new Charger? I hate the current charger......but ive seen some ideas on a new one.

It will be interesting to see where chrysler's resources go now that its Gov. owned.
I found some Challenger sales figures here.

Dodge Challenger 2009 Sales:

* April - 2,619
* March - 2,359
* February - 3,283
* January - 2,717

Dodge Challenger 2008 Sales:

* December - 2,602
* November - 3,364
* October - 3,014
* September - 2,376
* August - 2,077
* July - 2,895

It was at challengerblog.com. No model breakdown but best guess is that 40-60% of sales were V6s. 2009 annualized comes out to about 32,000, assuming May-December sales will be like the first quarter, which it won't. I think Fiat will keep it if only because everything else in Chrysler's lineup not named Viper, Ram, Jeep or 300 belongs in a landfill.
