I completely respect your opinion, but for me, I prefer this over the two-car tandems....it's far more exciting, and if NASCAR wants to keep promoting their drivers as "the best in the world", and paying them as such, then they should be good enough for "pack racing".
As for the drivers who complain about it; like a wise man once said; "...
they should tie kerosene rags to their ankles to keep the ants from crawling up and eating their candy asses." 
It takes far more skill to race in a pack than it does to follow another driver around the track.
