The company that makes the trans (Getrag, a Chinese company that builds some fairly decent transmissions one example being the trans of the 93-98 Supra) just makes them extremely cheap and obviously lacks the required quality control needed to mass produce these transmissions.

Funny thing is, the gt500 has a 6060 in it lol
