I was just sitting here thinking, I don't think we have ever discussed gear. So, tell us what you are shooting with, how long you have had it, likes and dislikes....

photo (1) by Okie Photo, on Flickr

Body:
Nikon D7000
Lenses:
Tameron 28-75mm f/2.8 (This is my main lens, it rarely leaves the body)
Nikon 55-300mm (for the LONG stuff)
Nikon 50mm f/1.8 (love my nifty fifty)
Flash units:
(2) Nikon SB-700 speedlights (LOVE)
Misc.:
A nice assortment of filters
Nikon wireless shutter release trigger
(1) light stand with flash head adapter, with umbrella (used mostly for my on location stuff with vehicles)

Lets see, the D7000....AWESOME for the money. It is feature rich, and even has a lot of features that the pro bodies have. Does very well in low light, and has "acceptable" noise up to around ISO 1600

The Tamron lens has been my best investment. Super fast, super sharp, very nice range, and about half of a 2.8 Nikon equivalent!!

Have any questions just let me know!

Oh ya, we can throw in "next on the block" as well!! For me, the next purchase will be a super wide angle from tamron, not a fish-eye, but a true wide angle. 10-17mm to be exact.
