I just recently found some new motivation to continue to lose weight (Other than all the obvious). I am self employed, and being so I have been trying to get Health Insurance. The problem is that I am clinically obese. Which I personally think is ridiculous. But regardless of what I think, the insurance companies will not insure me unless I am under 296 pounds. Even though I have no pre-existing health issues, I have normal blood pressure, cholesterol etc. I don't have any of the ailments that normally come with being so heavy *knock on wood*. Anyway I have ~45 pounds to go to get to that goal, so I have set that as my next major milestone. In the mean time, I need to find some temporary catastrophe insurance that will cover me in case of an accident.
