Just bought my 13 year old son a 2006 Mustang GT. I think it is very important for a child to learn to drive the car he or she is going to drive when 16. The more practice in a familiar vehicle the better. I use it as my DD and he drives it around the neighborhood (with myself or my husband, of course).
