If you want to see what the Mustang chassis is truly capable of then check out Griggs Racing.

Pedders 1.2g vs Griggs 1.5g

The Griggs car threw out most of the Mustang chassis bits. Even with all that hardware and expense it pulled ONLY 1.5 Gs on Hoosiers 315/30 ZR18 front and rear (10.5" wheels). On the other hand, the Griggs approach supports what I have been saying for some time, a current generation Mustang needs a LOT OF HELP to put power down on a road course.

Our Mustang is a street car that retains all the original suspension mounting points, runs on STREET tires and maintains steady state 1.38 G turns while delivering a factory quiet and comfortable ride. We never tested on slicks, but is is a safe bet to expect slicks to deliver at least a .12 increase.
