I'm sure he was more interested in celebrating and finding his wife and his baby than listening to Dan Patrick explain that it was a Centennial Edition Grand Sport Corvette. And I'm sure he wasn't expecting the keys...Where's he supposed to put them, he doesn't have pockets!!
Plus he did say thank you, so that whole BS is just being blown out of proportion by Manning haters.
