As far as I am concerned, Ford should just keep their mouths shut and keep producing their beastly trucks. Chevy will never have anything close to competing with the SVT Raptor. It's one of a kind. The base F150 easily out does the 1500. I think it's just a down right, better truck. Better design, better performance, ect. Now, when it comes to the duallys, I would take a chevy over the ford, why? Design. I can't stand the Ford's dually front end design.

I think in order to be competitive, Chevy needs to seriously make an aggressive looking truck. Something that has power. Something much like the old SVT Lightning...or at least do something similar to the Raptor.
chevrolet needs to make something like a Lightning? are you saying they need to produce a blown V8 engine and make 360 horsepower? im afraid not. or something like the raptor? who needs a 50k truck to drive daily? a 50k truck to go offroading in? thats just ridiculous... i drive a dodge ram and have looked into getting a chevy and im just gonna say that a chevy maintains its value way better than any other truck. its about 6-10k more for any used chevy than other trucks. IMO chevy needs no help in the truck department.

also, bailout or not, chevy has done much better since. gm has overall figures higher than any other car maker.
