Well, I learned to drive stick on my dads property at 14. Drove ATVs since I was a kid, and got my license at 16. Then drove my moms van every chance I got. Including many trips to north carolina, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland. I basically drove my parents everywhere any chance I could. And, when the van wasnt in use by my parents Id drive all my friends around. So, I had a lot of hours and thousands of miles of experience by the time I got my car. And, let me just say driving around a van all of highschool will make you appreciate your own car thats for sure, but Its still better than nothing at all. But, I still had to pay my own gas and car insurance while driving the van.
