I would think that the weight gain is only because you checked your weight shortly after eating your large meal, if you make your weigh ins before your "cheat meal" it would be more accurate.
Normally when you think of weight gain and fat loss together you would say it's muscle gain but muscle gain does not happen any where near that fast so I would think it's because of water retention/loss
