I'm sure that since the SVT engineers have specifically said they were trying to raise the bar a good deal past the Boss 302 LS with the new 2013 GT500, beyond all the improvements to get better/faster launch, 650HP, taller gears, superior differential, real launch control, real traction control, better tall tires, the car has specifically been re-designed for better handling on a road course, high performance suspension setting, real traction control, better steering, more down force and high speed stability by 33%, so comparing any other GT500 other than for total weight(2011/2012's), it seems pointless to make any of these comparisons.
The Boss 302 LS sticks like glue in the corners and doesn't shake loose easily because of the suspension design and real traction control, and SVT has put a 100% and more of that advanced learning and more on the 2013 GT500. So now we just have to wait and see. We already know the 0-60 is going to be 3.7 or better from 1st gear going up to 62mph, it's just a matter of HOW much faster it is on the road courses than the 2012. Erik
