Corvette vs Viper (since ford has no car in this segment)
Ford GT vs something (since chevy doesnt have a super car but I guess you could possibly throw the ZR1 at it)

Your comparisons are flawed seeing that the ford GT and the Viper are not currently being built. Plus, the ZR1 is every bit the "supercar" (as you put it) and certainly the Viper too (as it was the king of the American "supercars")as the Ford GT. As far as the topic of this thread, it was never about comparisons of models. It was simply what is Fords answer to the ZR1 and in a later post the CTS-V. Both of which the answer is that currently, they don't have one.
