I worked at a Toyota dealer during a period when the majority of cars the brand sold were affected by "warranty enhancements", "buybacks" etc. Never sat right with me. Then my poor grandma bought a Rav4 on my discount. It has to go in to have the TPMS sensor replaced on a regular monthly basis. I felt real bad about that one. I told her the Rav was probably a safe buy since it was one of the very few models that hadn't been recalled a ton yet. Woops.
