If your talking about a Cobra, they weren't build by ford. The weren't even built in the USA. The funny thing is Carol Shelby tried to get Chevy motors first ,but they wouldn't sell them to him.
Ford later on helped to redesign them ,but they still weren't built by Ford.

Exactly. It's not like GM hires their engineers from MIT and everyone else gets theirs straight out of high school.
