That's what they did when Oldsmobile was killed off, they took the (excellent in my opinion) Bravada, put on a new front clip, different emblems and wheels and sold it as the BuickRainer (they even kept the sheet metal from the A pillars back) and didn't even change the tail lights

I really hope they do something like the G8, it is far too nice of a car to kill off along with Pontiac. Offer it with the 3.6 DI 304 HP 6 and I would buy one
