So your brother applied for a teaching position, was offered a job and is unhappy with the requirements needed to fulfill the position? This translates to public sector unions are preventing him from employment according to your mindset. Thanks for the laugh and let us know if he takes the job.

Also, most public unions have an umbrella system of coverage. Take for instance Federal Employees. There are unions and employees pay dues and then there are non-paying employee members. Guess what? The union fights for all employees regardless if they are dues paying members. Example. A non-dues paying member wants to file a grievance, the union goes thru the exact same procedure as if a grievance was filed by a dues member. Everyone is represented the same. In short, the employee chooses to be a dues paying member, they are not forced or coerced.
