Wife and kids went with me. So I had to listen to the constant screaming of 2 kids all the way there. I just kept telling myself it was worth it because I would be able to see a camaro. Dad: Thats the dumbest thing I have heard... whats the big deal about looking at a car? why would you drive all this.......

I hung up. Needless to say We dont get along very well But just thought that since I hadn't seen him for a while that he could swing by and see me and the kids and the camaro.
We finally get there I drive by the front of the dealership and There it is...
Like its saying to me "come in look at me sit in me You know you want too..."
I just got a big grin on my face and my wife looks at me and says
"what the hell you smiling at that woman for"
I didn't see any woman... All I seen was the sexy camaro staring at me. lol
Well I pull up on the side and park. And the first thing my son says is I gota pee... err ok lets go pee... and then we get to look at the camaro. Well we walk in Me with my son and my wife pushing the stroller with my lil girl... I didn't catch the first guys name but I assume he was the manager says " anyone helping you" No not yet We just got here my son needs to use the bathroom where are they... He tells us where And there sits the camaro... So my son is dragging me and Im tryin to get a look at the camaro... well get him taken care of and then Im standing there at the camaro drooling... I see that it was locked up. So I am walking all around it. and finally a guy by the name of Todd says if you have any questions just ask. I said ok... I have been drooling over this car since the debut in 06.... He said yea most people know all about it thats why I dont even try until they ask me. I said so can I sit in it? NOPE.. uh hmmmm ok... I said can you at least open the door so I can look inside it? So he goes to get the key and unlocks it and opens the door stands there for a min and goes over to the front desk and talks. Im thinking "this guy could really give a crap if I wanted to buy a car or not" I just got the impression that I was bothering him... I walk up to him and then he walks over and closes the door and locks it again. I asked How long it had been there.. Oh for about 19 hours... I said How many people have been in to look at it. Oh at least 15 people. I told him I wouldn't be able to get any work done at all with it sitting there. He said well it gets old really quick. I dont know if my jaw dropped but Im sure he definately knew I was surprised by his answer. Well so there I am trying to hold on to my son.. for some reason he did not like that guy at all. The guy went back to the main desk and I was standing there looking at it and some guy walks in... Went over to look at the equinox and climbs in and out of it and then walks up to the camaro..
Guy: this is the new camaro huh
salesguy: yep...
Guy: so what they running?
salesguy.. This one is 27,000
Guy: oh theres the sticker there... oh its a v6... why if your gonna get a car like this you shouldn't get a v6... They shouldn't have made them in a v6... and walks out..
Well Im standing there still drooling over the camaro... Wishing I could sit inside.. I felt like it was the "first time" and just as it was about to happen the girls father walks in...
Well I get the camera out take a couple of pics. nothing great really I kept looking around for Pete hoping there would be a friendly face but I snapped a couple of pics and we were getting ready to leave and thought well This guy really doesn't care... So I walked up to him and asked him if he had a business card... He said yep I got a whole bunch of them... handed me one and I walked out the door.
When We got back into the car.. my wife said that guy was a jerk wasn't he? I said I thought it was just me. Or we are just spoiled by our dealership... She said that she liked the car and thought that I should go this weekend to actually be able to look at one and get to "touch" it.
After I got there I remembered that I had called them a few weeks back checking to see if they had any allocations left.. and the woman on the phone acted the same way... I would have stopped at Koons but I didn't have time... The car was great from what I got to see of it. Really wish I could have sat in one. But at least I got to see one finally..
I hope you had a better experience than I did Pete.
