Can you explain what a "one shot stop" is? My understanding is that a well placed .22 cal can stop someone faster than a badly placed .45 cal.

The point being is that getting into cal. vs cal. argument is a bad idea. The advice that should be given is to get something that is 100% reliable, something that can be handled easily/ accruately, and something that can be carried everyday....regardless of clothing.
