After driving a high HP 06' for six years, and having the correct suspension geometry maintained for being lowered, and having wide quality rubber, the Mustang launches fine when you get used to it manually. Having had 570HP at one point, with good summer weather and rubber, after properly feathering first gear, my car could stick all the way through 2nd with a chirp and through 3rd with a chirp and was incredibly fast and fun.

Again, as mentioned many time before, the Camaro's traction advantage is delivered electronically, so it's no surprise over powered Mustangs spin at launch as all cars did previous to 2003. The 2013 GT500 has 4 elements that are far better for launching now. Real launch control that is adjustable, along with real traction control adjustability, along with correct gearing finally for the car's power, and tall enough tires with enough sidewall and width for good launches. It will be a frightening beast like the ZL1.

Also on the twisties, the car now has a dedicated, very stiff performance mode, so the compromise of last year's diluted, have to please everybody and pot holes, is gone. All track now. Erik
