The debris screen on the maf ahead of the sensors. You can actually pop that thing out without doing any damage to the sensors and increase airflow. Pair of snap ring pliers and some gentile wiggling will eventually free it. Not sure what else they have mod wise (3800 compared to the LS1) but in all many cars net on average 10rwhp by pulling small ancillary things.
