Actually most refineries are losing money at the moment. The billions in profit are made by the upstream sides of the business. Secondly, REFINERS DON'T SET THE PRICE OF GAS AT THE PUMP that is done by the gas station itself in response to how much the terminals charge him. THE TERMINALS OF WHICH THE OIL COMPANIES DO NOT FREAKING OWN.
