Don't know if you caught NGC "Ultimate Factories" They showed how they make that beast down in Bowling Green, KY. The painter or anybody entering into the paint room has to take a test to see if your to dirty to paint corvette parts. The torktube, trans in the rear for the best weight ratio I think they said it was 50/50
