It's funny though that nobody takes into account the fact that it probably WILL cost around 20K.. because even in Japan cars are more expensive than they are in the US in Japanese yen.
The Japanese market prius is actually something like 3-5K more on average than the US one. So lop off 3K from that 28K tag
Eh.. still pretty damn expensive for no AC (which IIRC you can have in a Miata for 25K). I'd take a '98 1LE over it any day..
