Rumors from down under over the last 12 months is that the Holden (Australian subsidiary of GM) Ute (Utility Vehicle) will be introduced to the US market (as they did with the Pontiac GTO and G8) as the new Chevy El Camino. GM's financial recovery and the foreign exchange rate between Australia dollar and US dollar have been the big gap too far.
