Its pretty frickin' good. I got through about 24 issues (half of the compendium) already.
If you are watching the series on TV have no fear of spoilers. The story lines start the same but then go their separate ways. People who die on TV don't die in the comic and vice-versa. There are also characters on the TV show who never showed up in the comic (at least not yet).
Pretty cool.
