It's the material. Same thing with my fender and bumper. It's so bad on mine that the inner fender skirt actually popped off the fender. You can see inside the fender/wheel skirt at the support..
Only real fix would be to actually heat the material and reform it by hand via heat gun and metal forming tools. That's how I'm getting mine done.. it just costs a lot in labor.
But I still gotta take my whole car apart again, down to the frame, and have the car essentially disassembled and realigned. Walk out with a new car and in the end, I think it's worth it. Never had any other car tug at my heart strings like my T/A. And I was always a Camaro guy before I sat behind the wheel.. go fig.
