sometimes i do not understand those at GM. when they came out with the current W body (Monte Carlo/Impala, Grand Prix, etc) in 2000 they all had the ignition key on the dash between steering column and the Audio/Climate controls. then when they redid the Monte/Impala for the 06 year they put the ignition back on the column

. even in the past, remember for YEARS fuse boxes were under the dash near where the pedals hung down? we had a POS 88/89 Buick LeSabre sedan that had the fuses under a flip down panel of the 'woodgrain' trim panel on the far left of the dash. me and my dad thought that was freaking brilliant

. when we traded it in on the newer swoopier 92 up version the fuse box was BACK under the CENSORED dashboard back where they were in the past
