Drove a loaded 370z. Drove great, looked nice, handled very well. The car seem's to be head and sholders above the 350z.
That being said, I'm 5'10" and had a hard time getting in and out without hitting my head every time I tried.
The 370z does have more USABLE storage (trunk space) than the Camaro, but that is because the trunk access is WAY too small on a Camaro. You can put a ton of small stuff in the trunk of a Camaro, but good luck getting a suitcase in their. With the 370z being a "hatchback" this really isn't a fair compairison.
The Camaro has a back seat for larger items that wont fit in the trunk, MUCH CHEAPER, looks better, and isn't at all over priced.
370z has no back seat.
Nissan has a terible resale value for their Z's. If the 370 follows the same trend as the 350, I'd pass on a 370.
I was looking at getting a 370z but couldn't pull the trigger on it because of Price, value, resale value, and several bumps on my head.
Fit and Finish on the Camaro is everybit as good as that on the 370z.
Where the Camaro blows the z out of the water is Price vs Value. If your wanting a 300+hp V6, loaded, sharp for UNDER $40k, that leaves the 370z OUT.
Hope this helps. As you can see from my signature, I have a Camaro on order, and won't loose a seconds sleep over not getting the 370z.
