That would be an old S10 chassis zombified as usual in South America (the 70s CKs were still available in the 90s). I highly doubt this will make it state-side since it's almost the size of a Silverado and costs nearly identical. Same reason they killed the Ranger and Dakota; Next Gen Ranger is the size of a base F-150 and the Dakota/Ranger sales were nearly nil when compared to how well a 2wd base full size truck sells.
This thing is pretty big for a 'small truck' and better tailored to markets like SE Asia and South America where you don't really need a 3500HD and just an S-10/Ranger sized vehicle.
Now if GM could buck the big truck trend and actually market this vehicle as a fuel efficient and versatile alternative to a full size pickup (which would leave the 2500HD and up for full size territory) in the fleet world.. then maybe we'll see it. Especially with the baby diesels.
