I plan on trading my CTS in on one of these as my next DD as long as it looks somewhat decent and not like an ugly smashed CTS (Like the 1 series Bmw which looked like a weird minature 3 series), all the test videos of it being perfected have me hooked. It will prob be 1-2 years after they are out considering the dealer will prob add 10k onto the price the first year. Alot of people have given it crap but i'd prob take the 4 cylinder turbo. 4 cylinder sounds weird in a caddy but hell it will prob be reliable and get 35mpg. The 3.6 cts I have now couldn't get an average of 20mpg if it's life depended on it. I don't assume it being fast like a cobalt SS, considering the new 4 cylinder turbo regal ran a laughable 16 sec 1.4 mile and with the 3.6 V6 being available for more $$$ they won't let the turbo model be quicker with better gas mileage. Nobody will spring for that fancy v6 if that was the case.
The ATS-V will prob be cool but I think they will have a tough time selling one. If the CTS-V is 64k then I figure the ATS-V will be 55k. I think most people would rather but a slightly used CTS-V for the same cost.
