I used to be a member of a forum where they had an "RAOK" group. Basically everyone who wants to get involved posts in a sign up thread. It's open for a week or two. When we have all the signups, we randomly choose RAOK buddies. Then if you sign up, you have that season (winter, spring, summer etc) to do random acts of kindness for your buddy. You can wait till you think they've had a bad week and send them a sweet card or a little gift, or do it right when the thread opens... Whenever you like, at least once, during the time allotted (usually 3 months). We can set it up where each person does a random act of kindness (or random act of Camaro
) for their buddy three times in three months (for the season) or twice or once or leave it open so you can randomly be nice as often as you want! My RAOK buddy in the past got things like a chamois for their car, a Starbucks or Amazon gift card, a hot wheel, a card, candy, even a donation to Make It Right in their name-- little miscellaneous things/care packages to brighten their day. You can choose when to reveal yourself as your benefactor's buddy or remain anonymous. Up to you guys how you wanna do it. Give me your input!
Would anyone be interested in doing something like this on C5? There would be a signup thread and you'd post your likes and interests (and any food allergies lol!) then we would use random.org to choose buddies and you wouldn't know who your buddy is until you receive a random act of kindness from them. It doesn't have to cost a lot but making someone smile is a great feeling!
