we are not talking about a number of cars. we are talking about a new SAE standard test of an assembly line motor. we are talknig about a 2012 392. the mustang gt is not underrated one HP. it makes SAE 416hp. inside the SAE allowance advertised rating of 412bhp.
the camaro LS3 is not underrated. it makes 426hp SAE.
manufacturers who voluntarily participate the the above mentioned SAE standards usually rate their motor low if they a smart about marketing.
so likely the max a hemi makes is 475hp, but it could also make 465hp SAE.
