So this simply sounds like the electronic limiters are required to keep the 2013 GT500 under control. Could simply indicate that the tires are the limiting factor as one might suspect. And yes, it takes torque management to keep the tires from spinning which would indicate Ford has to pull the reins in to keep maximum traction.

I think the 2012 GT500 only has 285 width tires. Easy to burn them to the rim with out torque management. Anyone see if Ford announced wider rubber or the 2013?
