And whoever said that the new Explorer isnt worth a damn, have you driven one? Cuz I have and they are damn nice. My friend has a new Durango and it is very well done and its made to where a man can drive it.

Everytime i see a Traverse its a woman driving it with kids, or some poor sap who had no choice because his wife forced the issue.

I guess im just venting. How much would a warranty cost for a used Acadia?

One more question, why dont Warranties transfer to the 2nd owner? You would think if a car company stood behind its work that it would transfer to at least the 2nd owner.
GM warranties (Powertrain and B2B) both transfer.

I believe, however, if you look at Hyundai's 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty, that is only for the original owner.

But for comparision, the BASE Explorer is 28,280 (not 27,000) but to get an equivalent model to the GMC, you probably have to get the Explorer XLT which is 32,095. Nearly the same as the Acadia. Both are FWD comparisons.

Not saying the Explorer isn't a great vehicle, it is. But it has been pretty much panned for ride and handling.

Also consider that if you compare dimensions, the GM Lambda vehicles are a bit longer than the Explorer. 6" more wheelbase which I think you will find means more 3rd row leg room enabling the Acadia to seat 8 vs. the Explorers 7.
