I'm a realist. 3.25 a gallon around here is half of what the Europeans are paying. Granted, they're cars are generally more fuel-efficient than ours (but they cost more, and are smaller - correct me if I'm wrong).
Just bought a Cobalt, and 40miles a day for ~20 days a month = 800 miles....
which translates roughly into 100 bucks a month on gas...
I got it good.
But, if you're truck is hurting you that bad - go for a Colorado...or a smaller SUV. The equinox is supposed to have quite a bit of room in there with the seats gone......
I guess it boils down to, Do you actually USE the truck? For towing, hauling, etc. If you do...then my advise is deal with it. If not - maybe trading it in for a Malibu (
) wouldn't be a bad idea.
But I complain about gas prices as much as I used to ever since I figured out what the Europeans are paying....damn.
