I think you're right. Plus - Japan is closer to China than it is the US...so they have to deal w/ each other constantly - and in WWII, we got 'revenge' by incinerating two of their cities, and dismantling their army.
Oh....as well as putting it in their 'constitution', that we'll protect them due to their lack of army....so we can't bloody well walk away from them now. That's part of it.
But other than that...Great news, great story, and great prospects. Just imagine, if you will, when the Volt comes out - and all Toyota can muster is a competitor that gets a whopping 7-10 miles on pure electric.....
I can't wait. THIS is the GM the older folks remember, and the younger ones are introduced to, THIS is the GM we all can be proud of supporting, and THIS is the GM that will dominate car sales in the world for years to come!!!!
