Not what I was saying at all. GM said from the get-go,when the released the information, it was their best run.
My point was simple, doing something once is relatively easy. Repeating something over and over with a similar result is truly hard. That was all. I'm not saying that the ZL1 did not run a 7:41 nor that it was not capable of doing it again (if not an even better time). I'm not sure how my post came off as questioning the validity of the time. Like you said, the time is well documented and is not in question.
