I have had XM on every new GM vehicle I bought....When I purchased the vehicle at the dealership I made them give me a 3 yr subscription becuase I knew that I would be trading the vehicle within 3 yrs.....

When I purchased my Camaro I insisted that they include a lifetime service to XM with the deal and they agreed because I know I would not be selling this car.

Lifetime subcriptions run around 400.00 and follow the vehicle for life.....they can not be transferred UNLESS the vehicle is totaled in an accident...then they will transfer the service for you.

IMO if you like XM just get it thrown in the deal when you purchase the car and then you have no problems.

I like XM because I always have service, especially in the rural area I live in and travel. I have had my car for over 2 years now and still only have 10k miles so I don't drive mine much.....But this may help some people in the future.
