Respectfully disagree, I'd argue from those points you menchioned that a Gen V V8 makes more sense. A. I dont see a TTV6 being any smaller or lighter and definetly not cheaper than the Gen V V8, obviously the V8 would be more powerful to. B. Merc. BMW, and Audi performance cars don't standout from each other anymore imo. GM is in a postion to be what BMW USED TO BE and more!!! The ultimate driving machine. An ATS-V with a Gen V V8 and 7 speed manual trans would give the ATS its own identity and character. Cadilac need to "Standout" NOT "Blend in".
