I'm not a mod but I'll take a stab at this one. The rules state that if it fits into a subtopic then that's where it goes. So to fit that rule, you would have to put it in Square talk because it fits better than General Quadrilateral talk.

For me I could care less where a thread is located because I mainly only use the new post tab.
