Yea but if I remember correctly the 360 will only play certain formats? The ps3 will play anything you throw at it becuase all you need is the codec on the media server end.
Either way both are good systems. But just like sound systems its all in what you are going to use it for. A competition DB sound system will sound like crap but be loud as hell, and a comp SQ system will sound great but not be heard 4/5 blocks away.
The PS3 worked better for me because gaming was a 2nd consideration over blue ray / media.
Edit - its actually funny cause the wife and me are actually looking into getting a wii for the gaming, she's more into it than any other system out there for games.
