After a hand full of dates I usually try to work it out where it isn't awkward at dinner. For example, I'll get dinner and she can get the movie or dessert somewhere else. Granted I still take the bigger bill but if a chick isn't willing to help out after awhile then I just think she is along for a free ride. Once I see I got one of "those girls" I kick 'em to the curb. I feel really bad for the poor guys that are paying for everything with a "just friends" kinda girl knowing he is thinking it will turn into more while she is enjoying being wined and dined for free.
