The SRT392 isnt really in the same class as an SS or GT IMO. It's where the BOSS 302 is, and where an LS7 powered Z28 should be. The 6.1 SRT was more similar in performance to the SS and GT which is why I think they should have kept it as a mid level V8 option. The R/T isnt quite on the same level. A forced induction Challenger to go against the GT500 and ZL1 would be nice though. Competition is always good for the consumers of all three brands. I mean think about it, had the challenger and camaro not been brought back, the mustang guys would probably still be stuck with that lame 4.6 which is now outpowered by the V6 models from all three corporations.
