Honey, I can forgive easily but, like you, I will NEVER forget. When you get to the Fest, be yourself. Don't put on an act. As the old saying goes, you can kill 'em with kindness. However, people should NEVER mistake kindness for weakness. It's FAR from that - it just shows YOU are the bigger person.
As far as being "too nice" at work - stick to your guns. You can be firm but fair. No need to break out the "bitch boots". Keep on keepin' on.
