All coached have performance based incentives in their contracts if they Make the BCSNCCG and more if they WIN the BCSNCCG so their votes should not count.
As far as RGIII what is the old saying...." If you can back it up it ain't braggin" well he seems to back it up.......
There are so many differences in each conference about offenses and defenses that it is all pure speculation on who, what , if and when because personally I think the Big 12 defenses are weak and the offensive number are inflated but of course everyone can have a bad game.
When TT played OU I was amazed at how they scored. When OSU played OU it was even more amazing.....it was like OU just throwed the ball on the ground and told OSU "Here you go"
The whole issue I see with this is we need a playoff for the top 4 and this issue would be resolved.
I lok at teams like Houston, Hawaii from years ago and it seems that in confernce the ut up astronimcal number until they see a defense...just like Houston did this week and Hawaii did when they played Georgia.
I think thes finess offenses are usually hurt when it comes to BCS games for the mere fact of the lay off between games....seems like they get out of rhythm. Alot of those offenses are based on timing and with the lay off that gets hurt, especially when alot of it has to do with a QB...If he has a bad game, a little slow, or whatever then the offenses suffer.
Usually a power running game does not fail...look at Texas when they played USC...Vince Young killed them...mainly by running, Tebow killed whomever he played by running, and most teams with a running game do alot better in those type of games.
I give no credence to a 3 loss team, just like last year Alabama lost 3 games....to me that team is not very good. When a team has mutiple losses like 3, then it was not just a fluke. We could have said South Carloina played way above their heads and Alabama had an off day.....but to lose 3 more times after that showed they had serious flaws, especially giving up a 24-7 half time lead against Auburn and losing 28-27.

Offenses like the Big 12 spreads can be out of sync by a little disruption. Defenses don't have 'Sync'. I"d MUCH rather have great defense and mediocre offense rather than the other way around.
I wish Stoops could get that through his thick Fing skull. The a=last time he had a defense he won a NC.
