I pay about $100 a year for combination department mostly volunteer w/ some 24-hour paid staff. If I had a choice to opp out and the bank or insurance company new you bet they would drop me or make me pay for their insurance to cover a potential loss an that would cost me more then $100 a year. It's all simple math.
If I could predict the future I would be a very rich man. In life "S" happens and the most reasonable thing to do is try and keep your potential losses to a min.
