Another alternate would be inverting the switch plate on a convertable (hole is on the other side) to make it work. Won't have the arrowhead but it's a plate that you could make a base for a specialized plate:

I actually have one of those custom emblem plates to go on it actually. I went over to LS1tech and posted there like you said. None of the yards around here even have a trans am and the dealerships are scarce on parts for them. I actually thought about using the convertible trim if I could find one.
