So glad it's Friday... I had yesterday off because the Seahawks were home with a 5pm kickoff, but had a meeting at noon. My hubby waited in the car for me, and we planned to head to the game right after the meeting. Well, our plans didn't go so well....
We were headed toward Seattle, and I glanced down and the temp gauge on my SUV was topped out - no warning lights, though (weird....) I took the next exit and we checked things out, added some coolant, waited a bit, called our buddy at the shop to make sure we were doing everything right (Mitshubishis are more complicated than Chevys!)... It seemed to cool a little, then get hot again... So, we headed home (only about 12 miles) and got hubby's truck to go to the game. Then, I had to listen to him rant, and rant, and rant.... He basically cussed me out for 3 hours straight. He kept insinuating that it was my fault we were going to be late for the game.
Yup, I made the SUV overheat, I made the traffic bad, I made you get in the right lane 5 miles before you needed to and sit there for an hour, etc....Sigh....
Silver lining.... We made it to the game before the end of the 1st quarter, the Seahawks won
, and now I HAVE TO DRIVE LADYBUG TO WORK!!!
It's supposed to be nice today, and there's no frost on the ground this morning (whew!) - works for me!!!
Now for a long workday (inventory tonight) then a four day weekend!!!
