But for those of us that have never experienced the wonders of the highbeam floor switch ... what makes them so awesome?
Well for example, tonight I'm driving home in my 3500 LTZ. I had my high beams on. I was coming up on a turn ,and a car met me at the turn. I drive with my left hand most of time with my other free to change stations or mess with the heater or what ever. Well I'm in the middle of changing stations when the car met me. I didn't have time to grab the wheel with my right hand and pull the level so I high beamed the guy. When your going around a turn your hand does always line up to reach the level so you need to remove your hand from the wheel to work it. With a floor switch it doesn't matter what your doing with your hands. It's one less thing you need to do with your hands behind the wheel. If it's so great to have everything on the column then why not put the break pedal and throttle there too while your at it.

Like I said it makes more sense to me.
